Dr. (Chef) R. Randall Ryder, Jr., PhD, is a food industry veteran with nearly 40 years of consumables manufacturing experience and the founder of a Central Virginia saucier company named Flynn’s Foods. Inheriting his culinary passions and Native American heritage from his family, he blends cooking expertise with a life of dedicated service. The son of a prominent Virginia defense attorney, Dr. Ryder teaches part-time at a local university and lives by the philosophy of helping others every day.

A devoted Christian, military veteran, and family man, he spends his time serving his local community, supporting animal adoption causes, and feeding the homeless. Dr. Ryder resides in Central Virginia with his soulmate, Marlene, and their Belgian Sheepdogs.
